JOB DETAIL

Description

IFC — a member of the World Bank Group — is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets. We work in more than 100 countries, using our capital, expertise, and influence to create markets and opportunities. Our mission is to leverage the power of the private sector to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity on a livable planet.

IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies. The HR department includes three Centers of Expertise (COEs) — Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness, Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility, and Talent & Incentives – and two Client Services teams providing support to HQ and regions.

We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Global Talent Acquisition and Mobility Services team. The ideal candidate will bring strong skills in candidate search using multiple platforms to find the most qualified candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.  This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with stakeholders and build diverse teams across the globe, all while contributing to sustainable private sector investment in developing countries and improving people’s lives.

Duties and Accountabilities:

•  Source for niche, high volume, and difficult-to-fill vacancies through the year.
•  Participate in job launch and intake meetings with hiring managers and recruiters to understand vacancy challenges, team needs, and diversity goals.
•  Provide advice and research key insights regarding current talent marketplace, relevant competitors, and talent flows.
•  Search internal and external databases for relevant profiles, applying a wide range of sourcing strategies including internal referrals, alumni networks, and existing applicant pools.
•  Proactively build a solid pipeline of candidates based on the current and future needs of the organization as specified in the workforce plan.
•  Contact potential candidates to generate interest in potential opportunities with IFC and accurately maintain their profiles in our databases.
•  Report key performance indicators to Team Lead on a regular basis.

Selection Criteria

•  Master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related;
•  At least 5 years in international recruitment with a demonstrable experience searching for talent and headhunting for difficult-to-fill roles, preferably within the financial industry and international development space.
•  Familiarity with talent pools and labor trends in emerging markets
•  Advance knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter as an effective tool used to source candidates, manage online campaigns, build talent pipelines, and create reports
•  Advance knowledge of LinkedIn Talent Insights (LTI) as an effective tool used for talent mapping exercises.
•  Excellent interpersonal and multi-cultural skills to establish successful relationships with candidates as well as with internal clients.
•  Track record of high level of integrity, tact and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information
•  Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting work priorities and demands.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages a plus
