About the Job
The overall purpose of the role is to support the Emergency Team through direct implementation of field activities, including planning and delivering assistance through in kind and voucher/cash assistance distributions in the affected areas of the Turkey Earthquake. This role will include identifying and verifying beneficiaries and their needs as well as monitoring the effective and accountable delivery of emergency assistance.
These activities will focus around multi-sector, life-saving interventions during acute crisis within the areas protection, shelter and non-food items, water, sanitation and hygiene and food security through different assistance modalities (in kind, cash, voucher or a combination). They will cover all stages of project cycle management from programme design to implementation and monitoring and evaluation.
Geographic scope: Kahramanmaraş Field Office
This role has an area focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the area. The role contributes to the development of area strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks. Provides administrative support within sector area as per sector deliverables.

• Support as required by the Manager in the procurement of emergency supplies or financial service providers and with the logistics and movements of staff from and to different operational areas.
* Undertake any further duties as the line manager sees fit. The position duties are flexible to a degree to allow the candidate to develop skills they personally identify. This can be arranged in discussions with the line manager.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have relevant degree/Diploma in economics, agriculture, social sciences, community development and mobilization, civil engineering, geography, international relations or another relevant field.
