Based in Braine L ‘Alleud, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. As an Engineer (Application Support – Oracle EBS) working in the Service Support and Business Applications Service Line (SSBA SL), you will act as the SME for Financial aspects of the Oracle E-Business Suite systems used by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), Allied Command Transformation (ACT), the Allied Command Operations (ACO) and the International Military Staff (IMS). Your responsibilities will include provision of Level 2 support to end users as well as assessment and resolution of incidents, problems, service requests and change requests.

About you
We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Functional Engineer (Application Support – Oracle EBS) ideally with 5 years post-related experience who holds as a minimum a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline. A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.
You will be asked to undertake functional Oracle EBS support, including resolution of incidents, analysis of change requests, best practice advice to business users, provision of time and costs estimates for changes, delivery of functional design documentation, testing etc.
Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Selected candidates who are not nationals of the host country and who have not been continuously resident in the host country for at least one year may be eligible for an expatriate allowance. For the purposes of determining continuous residence, NATO considers mainly the work location at the time recruitment started, independent of whether various ties were kept with the home country.
