We are seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Lead for a 2-year-regular position (renewable) to coordinate the Enterprise Risk Management activities at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, Korea. (Duty station : Seoul, Korea)
Job Description

This role ensures that the company identifies, evaluates, and mitigates risks across all departments, keep adequate documentation and develop reports to the risk committee, the Finance & Audit committee of the BOT and the BOT.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Enterprise risk management policy and governance body establishment and maintenance
    • ERM policy and SOPs establishment, periodic revision and company wide distribution
    • Develop and update Risk Committee charter
    • Organise and maintain minutes of the Risk committee meeting and other internal meetings related to ERM cycle.
2. ERM cycle planning
    • Annual ERM operational and evaluation schedule planning
3. ERM cycle coordination
    • Organise and manage annual ERM cycle kick off meeting
    • Ensure that all activities required as part of the ERM cycle are performed and documented as per agreed annual timelines
    • Ensure the improvement tasks and mitigation plans are implemented as agreed with and by the responsible functions; and assist the Leadership Team in assuring compliance.
    • Serve as a liaison between the various departments to ensure a consistent approach to risk management.
    • Work with external vendors as needed.
4. Reporting and analysis
    • Maintain risk management documentation, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, incident reports, and other related records.
    • Maintain a comprehensive risk register and ensure that all identified risks are accurately documented.
    • Prepare reports on risk management activities, including risk assessments, mitigation efforts, and incident outcomes, for the Risk committee, the Finance & Audit committee of the BOT and the BOT.
    • Analyze data related to ERM performance and recommend improvements to existing processes.
5. Risk management Training and awareness enhancement
    • Help design and deliver training sessions to staff on risk management procedures.
    • Promote a risk-aware culture by raising awareness of risks and the importance of risk management across the organization.
Job Requirements and Qualifications

1. Education Requirements (Specify field of studies preferred)
    • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
    • A professional certification in Risk Management (e.g., CRM, ARM) is a plus.
2. Related Field Work Experience (Specify people management experience)
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, insurance, compliance, project management or a related field.
    • Experience in developing risk management strategies and performing risk assessments.
    • Familiarity with risk management software and tools is a plus.
3. Technical and Professional Skills / Knowledge (e.g., official certification, training, project, etc.)
    • Knowledge of risk management principles, policies, and practices.
    • Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management.
    • Project management expertise.
4. Key Competency
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
5. Language Proficiency
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
    • Proficiency in Korean is a plus.
