Appointment Type: This is an excepted service, time-limited appointment that is not to exceed five years; may also be considered for two two-year extensions depending on the needs of the service.
Salary: (USD) $107,657 – $158,097 per year

Description of Organization: The position is located within GC. GC leads the Agency’s work on preventing environmental pollution, such as air and plastic pollution, and improving the resilience of vulnerable urban populations.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Environment Officer will serve as an Urban Resilience Advisor, providing technical expertise to support USAID’s programs and other efforts to improve urban resilience through sustainable and inclusive urban development.
The Urban Resilience Advisor’s responsibilities will include the following:
