The Medical Services and Staff Welfare Division, PTCW2, is responsible for providing medical, professional and welfare services to all AfDB staff and eligible dependents, both at the Bank’s headquarters in Abidjan and in the Regional Directorates and Country Offices.

The Consultant shall assist the Medical Centre in the performance of its responsibilities as follows:

• Develop the Bank’s psychosocial health policies, guidelines and procedures;
• Prepare periodic reports for Management and participate in studies, research and observations that impact the psychosocial health and well-being of staff;
• Serve as the Medical Advisor to the Staff Medical Plan; and
• Provide psychosocial and counselling services to staff members and their spouses, while maintaining strict confidentiality and respecting the privacy of all clients.
