The consultant shall have a minimum of a master’s degree with at least eight (8) years of experience in the transport sector with proven ability to work on policy, institutional, economic and financing aspects of transport projects. The tasks will, among others, include assisting the Bank’s task managers in the following: development of public and private sector pipeline transport projects and diagnostic studies in consultation with government; preparation and appraisal of transport projects; supervision of transport projects; policy dialogue with government; coordination with the development partners in the transport sector; procurement and financial management oversight of projects; and coordination with other Bank departments to ensure efficient delivery of Bank operations.
