Consultant Irrigation/Rural Infrastructure Engineer will provide project cycle development and portfolio management support to the Nigeria Country Department in implementing the Bank’s Feed Africa Strategy in Nigeria. More specifically, the Consultant Irrigation/Rural Infrastructure Engineer will review all irrigation and rural infrastructure engineering activities and others relating to on-going project activities including but not limited to the Agricultural Transformation Agenda Support Programme Phase-I (ATASP-1), the Plateau State Potato Value Chain Support (PS-PVCP), the Integrated Climate Change Development and Adaptation Programme in the Niger Basin (PIDACC/NB) and Support to National Agriculture Growth Scheme (NAGS) – Agro-Pocket and processing of new projects, (e.g. Yobe State Environmental and Climate Change Action Project (ECCAP). Working closely with the Task Manager(s) the successful candidate will be actively engaging the various stakeholders at both the Federal and State levels.
