The Consultant will:

• Support the Quality Assurance of IDEV’s evaluation products from Concept Note through Summary Report by serving as a peer reviewer
• Support and promote across IDEV a culture of high-quality, credible, and useful evaluations, and of consistency in the application of evaluation guiding principles, standards, methodological approaches, methods, tools, and processes.
• Assist evaluation teams to effectively select and use the most appropriate evaluation approaches, designs, and methods for answering the evaluation questions.
• Assist evaluation teams to produce high quality, credible and useful evaluations
• Support the strengthening of staff evaluation skills and competencies in IDEV and promote learning from evaluation work.
• Provide feedback on the quality and credibility of IDEV evaluation processes and products (including adequacy and appropriateness of data collection, use and reporting).
• Undertake other related tasks to effectively improve quality assurance of evaluation products and processes.
• Perform other tasks to support the work of the department as necessary.
