The services to be provided under the Assignment include: The African Development Bank is seeking to engage the services of a firm that is experienced agriculture and rural development in Africa to serve as Special Envoy on Implementation of Country Food and Agriculture

Presidential Delivery Compacts to ensure timely delivery of priority interventions agreed at the Dakar 2 Summit.

The Special Envoy on Feed Africa will report directly to the President of the African Development Bank and work with the Vice President, Agriculture Human and Social Capacity Development (AHVP) and Feed Africa Directors to provide strategic advice with respect to the Food and Agriculture Delivery Compacts and Presidential Delivery Councils.

The Special Envoy will also work closely with the AfDB ecosystem in the region and stakeholders from the public, private and non-governmental sectors. The Special Envoy will serve in this capacity for an initial period of one year.
