The consulting firm is expected to develop tools and analysis that will support decision makers and stakeholders across the transport sector in Uganda to better understand the implications of promoting a low-carbon transport sector and the main tasks for this consultancy service are as follows : Value chain mapping; Lead the development of a high-level, theoretical, quantitative model that can enable decision-makers to better understand the potential socio-economic impacts of a transition to low-carbon transport in Uganda; conduct a scenario-based analysis of potential policy changes in the road transport sector, that will specifically explore the impacts of promoting a shift from motor bikes and minibuses to alternative (mass) transport, to be discussed with relevant stakeholders.
