Title of Assignment: ERP Delivery Manager

Expected duration of assignment: One year
1. Context
The Contractor will work in the Enterprise Solutions Division that is responsible for the evolution and maintenance of WIPO’s portfolio of ERP Administrative and Management applications collectively known as AIMS (Administrative Integrated Management System).
2. Objective of the assignment
As part of the Enterprise Solution Division, the Contractor will participate in the ERP Transformation initiative. The first step of this transformation foresees the engagement with an external company to accompany WIPO in its preparation work to adopt a new, next gen, ERP solution. The contractor will work closely with the project manager and bring her/his expertise in digital transformation.
The main role of the incumbent is to act as a delivery manager under the ERP Transformation project.
3. Deliverables/services
(a) Transformation preparation approach
• In collaboration with stakeholders and external provider, review and consolidate preparation approach, fit for purpose and ensure outcomes are delivering expected value.
• Advise on risks and mitigations, points of attention.
(b) Business requirements and capabilities mapping
• Coordinate in collaboration with the project manager workshops between business, technical stakeholder and external company to optimize requirements gathering.
• Review proposed business architecture with capability mapping.
(c) Change management
• Participate to the change management activity, coordinating with business stakeholders to ensure alignments between external company approach and internal expectations.
(d) Transformation Roadmap
• Participate to the development of the transformation roadmap and assist / advise WIPO stakeholders.
(e) ERP solution selection
• Ensure selected evaluation matrix is fit for purpose and aligned with Business objectives.
• Ensure Proof of Concept (PoC) is adequately scoped, targeting key / critical capabilities.
• Coordinate PoC activities with WIPO stakeholders and ensures proper assessment for each short listed solution is performed.
4. Reporting
The Contractor will report to the Acting Director, Enterprise Solution Division (ESD).
5. Profile
University degree in information technology or related field.
At least seven years of significant professional experience working with ERP transformation initiatives, in particular delivering fit for purpose solution designs.
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
6. Duration of contract and payment
Initial contract duration is 12 months. Applicants are requested to provide an indication of their remuneration expectations in Swiss francs (daily rate), onsite and offshore.
