The International Water Management Institute (IWMI), a CGIAR Research Center, is seeking applications from enthusiastic students who are looking to gain professional experience in the field of event planning and coordination at IWMI’s Southern Africa office in Pretoria, South Africa.
Scope of internship
This internship opportunity is within the CGIAR Initiative on Diversification in East and Southern Africa to support various events across the region. The intern would have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills and a creative flair. It would be a perfect opportunity for the intern to contribute to cutting-edge event planning within the research field and work with an international and diverse team of experts in the field of water management. This will also give them an insight into working with people from a dynamic and multicultural work environment.

IWMI will provide a monthly stipend to the selected candidate during the internship period.
The duration of the initial internship contract will be for 6 months with the possibility of extension based on performance, requirements of IWMI and the availability of funds. This is a nationally recruited internship and only citizens of South Africa are eligible to apply.
