This position is responsible for initiating and coordinating the administrative functions required for the efficient and effective functioning of the office of the Executive Director. The incumbent is often the first point of contact with the office of the Executive Director. Work involves facilitating effective communication between the Executive Director and all staff and also communicating on behalf of the Executive Director with external organizations, requiring a high level of tact and diplomacy. This includes information on important issues of a sensitive and confidential nature. Ensures the good reputation and integrity of the Executive Director’s office through strict confidentiality, exemplary behavior and professional conduct. Knowledge of protocol issues is essential.
