Description of Organization: REFS is responsible for worldwide leadership and integrated technical expertise of the programming of USAID in agricultural-led growth and environmental sustainability. REFS’ expertise encompasses resilience; environment; food security; nutrition; water security, sanitation and hygiene; climate; infrastructure; and energy, with the goals of increasing resilience, sustainability, self-reliance, and enhancing U.S. national security and economic prosperity.
AMS manages the core operational functions of RFS. AMS advises REFS senior management on strategic planning and crucial staffing, logistical, and operations management matters within their purview. AMS plays an integral role in ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency by linking REFS’ programmatic needs to staffing requirements and streamlining its internal management processes.
