IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department is a strategic partner to the business in developing and implementing workforce strategies and meeting organizational goals, including attracting, developing, and deploying diverse and skilled talent.

IFC HR is seeking a Recruitment Specialist (HR Officer) for the Global Executive Recruitment function, which partners with senior management to drive the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of the executive cadre (IFC Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managers). The Executive Recruitment Specialist will report to the Global Executive Recruitment Lead, Global Talent Acquisition and Mobility.

Duties and Accountabilities:


•  Own and drive the full lifecycle recruitment process from job posting to candidate onboarding for all executive recruitments, ensuring adherence to metrics on time to fill, workforce plan completion, diversity of hires, hiring manager experience, and candidate experience.
•  Engage early and often with the hiring team to understand client needs, advise on recruitment policy and procedures, help determine selection committee composition, provide best practice methods for assessment, and set timelines and roles.
•  Source candidates using multiple channels, including internal referrals, alumni networks, social media, outreach events, and online campaigns.  Support internal and external talent mapping, pipelining, and succession planning.
•  Assist Recruitment Coordinators in longlisting to ensure quality control and facilitate shortlisting and assessments.
•  Provide an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring a clear and transparent process, providing timely communication, and seeking and incorporating candidate feedback.
•  Determine salary offer, obtain relevant approvals, and communicate the offer and benefits to candidates.
•  Deliver strategic communications to senior management throughout the recruitment process, including candidate summaries, selection recommendations, and appointment announcements.
•  Support the execution of executive-level internal rotations and reassignments.
•  Track, analyze and interpret relevant metrics to inform strategies to meet executive recruitment goals.
•  Manage relationships with recruitment search firms and agencies and ensure that their delivery meets client expectations.
•  Oversee the work of the Recruitment Coordinators, providing coaching and mentoring.
•  Contribute to special projects as a member of the Global Talent Acquisition and Mobility team driving innovation and continuous improvement in our processes.

 

Selection Criteria

•  Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including recruitment and talent management of the executive cadre within an international organization or large corporate environment.
•  Ability to understand executive-level roles and business needs with in-depth knowledge of external and internal executive search methodologies, candidate pipelining and candidate assessment tools.
•  Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain connections with senior-level professionals.
•  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to summarize information for executive audiences and effectively engage and influence candidates and stakeholders.
•  Track record of high levels of integrity, tact and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information.
•  Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple executive requisitions simultaneously and deliver high and exacting standards of client service within tight deadlines.
•  Results-driven with a positive attitude and a high degree of initiative and responsiveness.
