Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 700 staff in Ukraine and will continue significant scale-up in 2024 to implement emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) Team Lead in Mykolaiv to support and oversee deployment of EORE team (s) and activities that are the core humanitarian mine action operations within all reasonable efforts leading towards successful work of DRC EORE teams that remains relevant and an integral component of the collective EORE efforts.

About you
To be successful in the role of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education Team Lead, we expect you to demonstrate proactivity in Explosive Ordnance Risk Education process and the ability to lead multi gender teams by respecting core competencies of DRC. You are expected to correctly monitor compiling of task folders and reporting system of DRC HDP sector. Moreover, you should be able to describe working knowledge of DRC national staff rules and understand recruitment process. You are expected to demonstrate understanding of DRC procurement procedures.
