Responsibilities Essential Duties: · Strong secondary research skills especially in the Indian power and electricity sector · Conduct regular primary interactions and liasoning with DISCOM personnel across India for data collection, project coordination and networking purposes · Creating relevant data insights as per project needs and ability to present with requisite level of data visualizations · Provide project delivery support to the team on projects in areas of clean energy, decarbonization, electricity generation and distribution, energy access and upcoming sustainability domains/ segments · Share analytical and insightful reflections for creating market assessment reports, presentations, models and frameworks on a project-to-project basis Qualifications · Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years of experience or Master’s with minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience; in similar sector · Well versed with Power Sector (Distribution, Generation and Transmission), Government Distribution Reform Schemes , latest clean energy technologies and other up and coming sustainability segments · Demonstrated experience of working with cross-functional teams will be preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Skills and abilities required to perform the essential job duties of this job are listed below. An addendum that clarifies additional skills and abilities for incumbents in this job may be used in addition to this description · The ideal candidate must have the desire to work in the space of sustainability, power sector and renewable energy with a focus on new and upcoming technologies · Excellent data analysis skill with considerable experience in primary and secondary research · Strong familiarity with standard MS Office tools, experience in data modelling tools preferred · Candidates with previous experience of interaction with DISCOMs preferred · Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure · Ability to travel as per project requirements · Attention to detail and accuracy · Culturally sensitive and respectful
