Where you come in:
In this fixed term part-time role (9-day fortnight), you’ll work within a case management framework in a refuge and outreach setting, providing support to individuals and families who are experiencing domestic and family violence.
Based in the Moreton Bay region, you’ll work 68.4 hours per fortnight. In week 1, you’ll work 7.6 hours per day from Monday to Friday and in week 2, you’ll work 7.6 hours per day from Monday to Thursday. These hours will be operated from the refuge and in community settings, all located within the Moreton Bay region. This role will be in place until Friday, 17 November 2023. Beyond this date, it is likely that the role will be extended, or other similar opportunities will be available.

You’re an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting families within a child centred, strengths-based framework. Importantly, you have a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and their families and you’re keenly aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
