Overview and Job Summary

 

WRI China Office is currently looking for a Finance Assistant. In this role, you will assist with all aspects of office accounting management, including but not limited to payment processing, staff reimbursement, expense reports, wire reports, bookkeeping, etc.
You will work with a lot of excellent co-workers from local and global office and other international offices. It will provide a great opportunity for you to build up a strong and comprehensive financial skill set and expertise, which will contribute to the rapid growth in your career path.
Job Responsibilities
  • Process the payment and Prepare cash register and transaction report.
  • Oversee forecast cash flow positions and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements.
  • Work with local banks to deal with office banking business when required.
  • Support programs and other core functions for payment-related inquiries.
  • Travel bill confirmation with programs and other core functions (FCM & DiDi).
  • Preliminary review of payment and reimbursement requests.
  • Coordination with global team and logistic vendors for new employee system account setup.
  • Timesheet management and support for timesheet issues
  • Support tax reporting including consultant IIT, VAT and CIT filing, and other tax related tasks required by local tax bureaus.
  • Assist with accounting and financial document organization, and other accounting and finance related work.
  • Other tasks directed by the manager
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years accounting or finance related full-time work experience, experience with non-governmental organizations is a plus
  • Experience working with payment requests, reimbursements, reviews and financial analysis
  • Previous compliance experience in China
  • Experience working with different ERP and financial systems
  • Fluent in speaking and written English.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrated strong work ethic
  • Be adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and can manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Strong process orientation with sensitivity to quality, timelines, and organizational systems.
