The Data & Analytics Manager 1 supports and monitor data management processes within the métier to enable evidence-based decisions and improvements in the area of data entry, quality, support and analytics.
Accountabilities & Functional responsibilities
Applies best practices, standards, guidelines and templates for data management and analytics, and works on continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance with established internal and external needs and regulations.
Keeps Data Management documentation updated.
Upon request, coaches Data & Analytics Officers in new activities.
May supervise Data officers, administrators and operators.
Data Quality
Assists in improving, developing & applying data quality monitoring processes & tools (dashboards etc) and contributes where appropriate in DQ controls automation.
Monitors data quality controls and consolidates, cleans and implements corrective actions.
Analyses DQ checks trends and reports findings to relevant stakeholders.
Data Analytics
Assists métier in reflecting on their performance measures, improvements in the functional area of expertise and provides ongoing support with data and analysis.
Ensures the coherence of data with field reports, particularly for institutional reporting.
Data Support
Ensures continuity and smooth transition of data entered into various system applications.
Contributes to the development of the data model and usage of the referential data that supports analysis.
Contributes to the definition of the overall testing strategy for the Information Systems. Executes testing of data, reporting and analytical reports

Relationships
Internally, interacts with users, business process owners and heads of programmes in HQ and coordinators in the field.
Externally, May interacts with organisations that provide external data, in coordination with CIM_CORP_TRAK.
Certifications / Education required
University degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of BI, SQL, statistical packages, Tableau.
Excellent command of English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
Computer proficiency.
Professional Experience required
Typically 6–9 years’ overall professional experience.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar field.
Ability to interact effectively with data users, managers and other stakeholders.
Ability to understand new business processes and their interplay with software and organizational structure.
