Job Description:

SUPPORT THE PROCUREMENT TO PAY PROCESS FOR STAFF, SUPPLIERS AND BENEFICIARIES PROCESS 

  • Review, upload and shared output file for suppliers into the Omni payment platform for approval
  • Download Support document and ensure they are ready for final review by Finance Manager before onward submission for approval.
  • Process all staff related payment (salaries, benefit etc.)
  • Support Finance Coordinator in arranging beneficiary documents for upload in the orange money and Afri-money platform for review and approval.
  • Share all process payment runs for onward submission to suppliers.

ENSURE THAT ALL DOCUMENTS ARE TIMELY AND PROPERLY FILLIED 

 

SUPPORT FINANCE OFFICER FACILITATE THE PAYMENT OF MONTHLY STATUTORY PAYMENTS

  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulation and laws by paying the staff PAYE and National social security and insurance trust monthly when salary is done.
  • Ensure to collect receipt and attached to the payment voucher.
  • Facilitate the timely payment of withholding tax paid monthly.

SUPPORT THE NATIONAL OF ANNUAL AUDIT PROCESS

  •  Extract documents requested by auditors from the on a timely basis.

SUPPORT THE MONTHLY NATIONAL OFFICE FINANCIAL REPORT

  •  Work closely with the finance coordinator and manager on any other month assigned task.

Other Competencies/Attributes:

  • Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
  • Attend and participate/lead in daily devotions and monthly Chapel services.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Minimum Educational level required:   Degree/HND in Accounting//CAT or equivalent.
  • Technical Training qualifications required:  good working knowledge in accounting software. Advanced knowledge in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Experience:  Willingness to Learn.
  • Other: Good analytical skills.

Working Environment / Conditions

  •  Work environment:  Office-based with frequent travel to the field
  • Travel:  10% Domestic travel is required.
  • On call
