Key Responsibilities:
- Working with all managers, Support Office, and Regional and Global Center in the area of budgeting and planning processes. This position is to ensure that budgets are correctly and timely prepared, carry forward (CFs) are requested and approved, vouchers are timely and properly reviewed.
- Lead country budget plan and ensure the quality of the preparation of the budget for the whole WVI-C.
- Manage and ensure country budgets are accurately proposed and timely approved in use systems, PBAS, and horizon. Ensure all income funds are accurately recorded and reconciled, including the funding system (PBAS) and Sun system.
- Manage country carry forward the fund to ensure timely communication with relevant support offices for approval.
- Coordinate to ensure all used fund flow systems are trained for all country uses.
- Assist grant finance team in budget proposal development
REQUIREMENTS
NOTE: ONLY CAMBODIAN NATIONALS MAY APPLY FOR THIS POSITION
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Certified Public Accounting is preferred
- At least two years experience in accounting and budgeting is required in the cross-culture working environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills, especially in a cross-cultural environment, and the ability to analyze and solve problems, persuade, network, and negotiate
- Good command of the English Language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of any Accounting Systems, Vision, cost allocation methodology, and other computer-related financial/accounting systems and budgeting is necessary
