Job Description:
A major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French Red Cross runs a network of more than 600 establishments and services in the health, medical and social sectors and in training. It also runs 12 regional health and social training institutes.
Internationally, the FRC is active in 16 countries alongside National Societies and 2 regional platforms (PIRAC and PIROI), on the following themes Health and Disaster Risk Management.
In the same way as in the activities that it develops and implements in France, the French Red Cross at the international level includes all its missions in a sustainable humanitarian action plan.
This means that emergency, post-emergency, post-crisis and reconstruction activities are coordinated in order to be as effective as possible. The aim is to carry out actions with lasting effects and to enable the population to regain their full autonomy.

MISSION CONTEXT
Since the start of the conflict, more than 6 million people have fled Ukraine to other countries, while a further estimated 7 million are internally displaced. This level of displacement and disruption has an effect not only on the refugees and IDPs, but also on the host communities and systems called upon to absorb them.
Poste
Under the responsibility of the Head of Delegation, the overall role of the first aid delegate is to:
Ensure the collection of information requested to support the implementation of first aid activities in Morocco;
Coordinate the implementation and follow-up of the activities planned on the first aid sector in coordination with the Morocco Red Crescent
Explore the development of new activities in the first aid domain;
Support the Morocco Red Crescent on the development of its overall capacities in first aid.
Strategy
Contribute to shape the First Aid programmatic strategy, to clearly define the activities to be carried out, and the timeframe
Investigate the development of new activities
Define the nature and scale of First Aid support
Support the Morocco RC in designing its multi-year first aid action plan in link with the IFRC 2030 First Aid Vision.
Partnership
Attend technical meeting and working groups linked to First Aid with MRC, Movement partners and other actors at national level and also at global level in link with the GFARC
Meet regularly technical teams of Movement partners around the thematic of First Aid, to encourage synergies and complementary approaches in the programming
Be the link between FRC & MRC for all the aspects encompasses under the First Aid component, both at National Committee & branch level
Link with other actors and networks to ensure an appropriate level of inter-Movement and inter-agency information exchange.
First aid activities project management
Manage the implementation of the first aid activities which are organized around 3 complementary components: 1/ Support to strategic and material first aid capacities of MRC 2/ Enhancement of MRC training resources (tools and trainer teams) 3/ Support of commercial and advocacy capacities
Work in continuous link with IFRC Global First Aid Reference Centre in HQ ;
Providing technical inputs, work plan, chronogram, logical framework and any other qualitative information;
Assist in the process of implementing new tools such as Universal First Aid App
Ensure the quality of the First Aid support & advancement of activities jointly conducted with MRC.
Ensure the appropriate logistical, financial and administrative implementation of project activities related to first aid.
Reporting
Send the HoD a bullet point report at each end of week, to communicate on the advancement & challenges
Establish with Global First Aid Reference Centre in HQ a rhythm of reporting and call, to ensure a smooth guidance and communication
Fill out the monthly TOM report to follow on the advancement of the first aid project
HIERARCHICAL AND FUNCTIONAL LINKS
The first aid delegate works under the responsibility of the head of delegation, and in close collaboration with the zone officer of the Global First Aid Reference Centre.

Conditions of employment:
Type of status: expatriate
Type of contract: Fixed-term contract under French law
Salary: According to the classification of the position on the CRf grid and the experience of the candidate
Per diem: daily per diem which varies according to the country
Leave: 10 to 15 days minimum every 6 months – Airfare paid at 100% by CRF for home travel
Health coverage: CFE + Mutuelle MSH (covered 100%) – covered at 75% by the CRF
MedEvac/repatriation insurance: YES
Other insurances: Provident insurance (death and disability)
SUMMARY:
Location: Rabat with possible travel inside the country – MOROCCO
Duration: 1 year (possibility of extension)

Professional technical experience matching the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities.
International humanitarian field experience.
Good communication skills.
Good sense of diplomacy
Knowledge in first aid.
Relevant educational background and knowledge of the RCRC Movement.
Proficiency in one (preferable two) languages. English or French is obligatory, and Arabic is a strong asset.

Passport valid for more than 6 months at the time of departure
Up-to-date vaccination records / fitness to travel
