First Aid Trainer
Location: Within 50 mile radius of Egham TW20 9BL
Hours: 35 per week (5 days between Monday to Saturday)
Salary: £23,366 – £25,203 (depending on qualification) per annum based on 35 hour week
Contract Type: Permanent
Could you play a vital role in delivering first aid training and specialist courses, teaching life-saving skills?

From helping someone who is not responding, to treating burns, we equip people with the confidence to provide potentially lifesaving assistance in an emergency. Our first aid courses depend on the needs of our service users so no two days will be the same!
Our courses provide people with life-saving knowledge and skills. Also after costs have been deducted, every penny made supports the crucial work of the British Red Cross.
This is a fantastic opportunity and will be a rewarding role for the right person. You’ll be helping us to achieve our mission of helping people in crisis.
You will be required to travel to training venues in Egham and within a 50 mile radius in surrounding areas. It would therefore be preferable if you live close to Egham and have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
We hold ISO 9001:2015 quality management accreditation, demonstrating the quality of service and training you can expect to receive when choosing the British Red Cross. We’ve been delivering first aid at work courses for more than 30 years.
To be a successful First Aid Trainer:-

Do you have an engaging personality; are a strong communicator, confident speaking in front of groups of people?
Do you love listening to others, coming up with solutions to problems, contesting opinions and giving feedback?
Do you have a Training or Teaching qualification, or you’re prepared to work towards one?
Do you have experience of preparing and delivering a range of training courses, and are assertive in presenting to mixed ability groups?
Are you comfortable working on your own and can travel to a range of training venues?
Are you IT literate?
