Your team

Within the Network Management Directorate, the Integration & Business Continuity service ensures the integration of operational requirements into the NM system release change process and the subsequent operational validation of developed changes to meet the operational requirements. It manages the NM crisis and business continuity processes, including NMOC contingency. The Unit provides also the resources for the operation of the European Aviation Crisis Coordination Cell (EACCC), ensuring that NM coordinates the responses to network crisis in close cooperation with corresponding structures in Member States.

Your role

Your role will be to:

  • Provide operational and technical support and advice to external stakeholders on flight data exchange (B2B) services during the operational validation period.
  • Assess impact on stakeholders’ systems during the validation phase and identify potential technical limitations and risks.
  • Lead and coordinate the operational validation process (e.g. development of scenario, definition of targets, identifications of technical issues and solutions, reports, etc) in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce and contribute to B2B (flight data exchange) services’ manuals and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to projects, tasks forces and working groups as required. Present and promote B2B services at fora and other meetings.
  • Identify improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of services, processes, etc. to contribute to the efficiency of the B2B (flight data exchange) services.
  • Carry out any other task with the main purpose of the job.

Required qualifications, experience & competencies

  • University studies of at least 4 years or university studies of at least 3 years plus 1 year relevant professional experience, or professional training of an equivalent level.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with operational systems, processes and procedures.
  • Experience in systems testing and validation.
  • Experience or knowledge in airspace data, flight planning and/or flow management operational tools.
  • Technical drafting skills in English.
  • Analytical thinking: analyses information and identifies relationships.

  • The working languages of the Agency are English and French. For this particular job, candidates must be proficient users of English at level C1. The selected candidate will be required to become basic users at level A1 of French before the end of the probation period.
    The levels relate to the European-framework-reference Common European Framework of References for languages (CEFR).
