Remote/Telework: 4 days per pay period (2 days per week). Position is NOT remote eligible.
Appointment Type: This is an excepted service, time-limited appointment that is not-to-exceed One (1) year and five (5) months with the potential for two two-year extensions
Salary: (USD) $107,657 – (USD) $158,097 annually

Description of Organization: The Bureau for Inclusive Growth, Partnership, and Innovation (IPI), advances USAID’s work to end economic and social inequality, inequity and vulnerability, and to future-proof development assistance through innovation, experimentation and more diverse partnerships. The Bureau advances a systems approach to deliver cutting-edge technical assistance to Missions and other parts of the Agency to advance longstanding and emerging priorities, including digital development, localization and non-traditional partnerships, gender equality and equity for marginalized populations, and educational and economic opportunities for all.

Description of Position: The incumbent is responsible for coordinating with LFT mechanism environmental compliance with the Office for Environmental and Social Risk Management. Oversees the administration of grants and cooperative agreements supporting project activities that are awarded each year by IPI and serves as USAID Agreement Officer Representative (AOR) performing a variety of duties, including working as part of a team with the Agreement Officer (AO) to ensure that USAID exercises prudent management over its assistance funds.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the position of General Development Officer – FL-0301-03, you must possess the required specialized experience specific to the series and grade you are applying to.

Specialized Experience:
Must have one year of relevant experience equivalent to the next lower grade level – FS-04 – of this position.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
