The Fundraising Development team drives and supports Mercy Corps’ strategies for restricted funding, unrestricted funds and brand profile raising.
The Fundraising Operations team (FundOps) is the backbone of the department, responsible for ensuring we have the right systems and processes in place across revenue streams, providing critical monitoring and analysis of performance that support quick adaptations to improve team performance and ensuring we adhere to and stay abreast of fundraising regulatory requirements.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Manager – FundOps, the Manager, Fundraising Operations will oversee the day-to-day management of the FundOps team and work plan in Europe, ensuring the smooth operation of our fundraising initiatives across revenue streams by ensuring the right processes and practices are followed to ensure compliance and improve performance, as well as contributing to exemplary supporter care.
They will oversee the CRM databases (Raiser’s Edge & ActionKit), gift administration, data analytics, monthly KPI reporting and support procurement. They will support the Senior Manager – FundOps, with strategy development, budget development, policy development and global reporting. The position calls for a proactive, incredibly organised candidate with a high level of emotional intelligence to interact with the broad fundraising development team, bringing relevant experience to the role.

The position can be based in Edinburgh or London, UK with an opportunity for this to be a remote position based in the UK, and may involve occasional national and international travel. MCE team members represent the agency both during and outside work hours when deployed in a field posting or on a short term assignment or trip to country offices. Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect Local Laws, customs and MC’s policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all Mercy Corps locations.
