Transparency International is a global movement with one vision: a world in which government, business, civil society and the daily lives of people are free of corruption. With more than 100 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, we are leading the fight against corruption to turn this vision into reality.
TI’s international secretariat (TI-S) develops cutting-edge research products, collects evidence on what works in anti-corruption, coordinates collective action and leads on regional and global advocacy. We are looking to fill an exciting position that will be based in the Policy and Advocacy Team in TI-S and contribute to the work of the Global Anti-Corruption Consortium (GACC) – a ground-breaking partnership with investigative journalists at the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). Taking advantage of OCCRP’s in-depth investigations, TI works to disrupt cross-border corruption through policy advocacy and legal action across the world. This work directly contributes to the TI Strategy and global advocacy priorities: tackling of the cross-border flows of corrupt money, protecting political systems from undue influence, and strengthening enforcement and justice. Examples stemming from this collaboration include TI’s campaigning work to End Corrupt Abuse of Golden Visas in Europe, or legal accountability work into corruption in Madagascar’s Litchi trade or following the Gambia Heist investigations, to name just a few, together with TI national chapters and other partners.
The role requires a team player with a good understanding of relationship building, an interest in fundraising and ideally some diverse regional and topical experience.
