This position can be based in WRI’s offices in Europe or India. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission. WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position.

About the Program:

WRI’s Operations department strives to make all global offices fully capable and low risk, enhancing their operational capabilities, establishing sustainable growth through a bond of mutual respect, collaboration and sharing knowledge across the sisterhood of WRI offices. This is done by targeting upon standards of performance, measuring the efficiency and effectiveness for the sisterhood of offices.

  • Job Highlight:

    Reporting to the Chief People Officer, in this newly created position, you will be responsible for leading the compensation, benefits and analytics (CBA) Center of Excellence. You will plan, develop, and implement new and revised global compensation and benefit programs, policies and procedures to align with the Institutes goals and competitive practices. You will be supported by a small team of specialists and the wider global HR team.

    What will you do:

    • Manage the development, implementation, and administration of our global compensation and benefits programs
    • Advise the international HR team and senior management to ensure that the compensation strategy and benefits programs support our strategic goals, meet all legal requirements, and deliver value and equitable pay
    • Serve as our compensation and benefits subject matter expert, effectively communicating with staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations
    • Design creative solutions to specific compensation-related challenges, including incentive and pay-for performance programs
    • Oversee our participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data, establishing data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies
    • Evaluate our current promotions process, design program improvements, and lead the Institute’s promotions process, partnering with Center of Excellence Leads to ensure career paths alignment
    • Develop techniques for compiling and presenting data, including leading the data analytics function and designing human capital analytics dashboards

     

What will you need:

  • Education: You have a completed Master’s degree
  • Experience: You have a minimum of 12 years of experience of which a minimum of 3 years have been in a leadership/management capacity
  • Knowledge of all US federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation
  • Experience of global compensation and benefits preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including advanced Excel

Potential Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
