Position Title: Global Partnership Manager

Location: US, Remote Winrock International (Winrock) is a non-profit organization that works around the world to increase economic opportunity, sustain natural resources, and protect the environment.

Winrock is recruiting a full-time Global Partnership Manager for the anticipated three-year U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs (OES) program, Ending Plastic Pollution International Collaborative Public-Private Partnership (EPPIC).

EPPIC will significantly reduce plastic pollution by strengthening enabling environments, raising public awareness, and promoting multistakeholder engagements that advance solutions to enhance circularity across the plastics lifecycle, particularly with innovation in upstream design and production.

This position is contingent upon award.

POSITION SUMMARY The Global Partnership Manager will lead the management of a partnership-based platform. Main tasks would be to work with the Chief of Party & Deputy Chief of Party to: expand membership from governments, companies, financial organizations, and civil society across the different countries keep the members informed with newsletters, webinars; sharing of knowledge products; keeping a roster of subject matter experts; organize events for members where results are shared and prizes are given; run one large annual convening event; set up sub-committees to work on specific problems and report to the larger group.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international relations, environmental science, business administration). Proven experience in partnership management, preferably in the context of international collaborations or public-private partnerships. Strong understanding of environmental issues, particularly related to plastic pollution and circular economy concepts.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated experience in organizing events, workshops, or conferences. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools for communication and knowledge sharing. Ability to build coalitions and networks that will provide synergies and sustainable solutions for the program.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective working relations and coalition building among host country government personnel, stakeholders, civil society partners, and international donor agencies preferred Strong writing and oral presentation skills in English.
