The Role:
Are you passionate about eradicating sexual harassment, abuse and exploitation in development and humanitarian work? Are you a committed SHEA & Safeguarding professional with proven experience in case management administration, developing communication materials for safeguarding, and managing a global network of SHEA & Safeguarding Focal Points? Are you super enthusiastic about ActionAid International’s Feminist Leadership Principles?
Join ActionAid International to work and contribute across the federation helping people to use their own power to fight poverty and injustice. You will report to the Global SHEA and Safeguarding Lead and will be part of the cutting edge, Global SHEA, and Safeguarding Team – working to create a feminist and survivor-centred approach to preventing to sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse.
As our Global SHEA and Safeguarding Coordinator will help deliver ActionAid International’s SHEA and Safeguarding strategy to prevent and respond to allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse carried out by ActionAid International (AAI) employees and representatives. They will carry this out in line with the Global SHEA and Safeguarding Team’s survivor-centred and intersectional feminist approach. This includes:
