In this role, you will have the opportunity to promote and instil best practice compliance that meets the requirements of Save the Children in Australia and globally, the ACFID Code of Conduct and our key donors, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Where you come in:
In this 12-month full time, fixed-term position, reporting to the Head of Award Management & Compliance, you will coordinate across the organisation to conduct a comprehensive review of policies, processes and systems against donor compliance and accreditation criteria. With a close eye on risk mitigation, partnerships and localisation, your reporting and recommendations will improve our work and ensure we meet internal and external standards.
The role may be based anywhere Australia, and you’ll have flexibility to work from home or at our Melbourne office.

You have a knack for communicating the link between compliance and quality program management because you appreciate that quality programming and efficient grant management is built on consistent and sound policies and processes.
You have a strong understanding of governance, financial and operational risk as it applies to the requirements of Save the Children and institutional donors, and you’re comfortable dealing with programmatic audits and calling out problems.
Your exceptional time-management, planning and communication skills make it easy for you to connect, work with and motivate a diverse range of people and teams at all levels.
