About the Program:
The Global Development Team is broken into four key philanthropic sectors (Corporate Relations, Government and Multilaterals, Foundations, and Individuals) managed by sector experts who provide strategic advice and a critical coordination function across the matrix. The Development team provides the Institute with strategic support on set and tracking institutional fundraising strategy, coordinating fundraising approaches across WRI’s network, setting key donor engagement strategies, raising unrestricted and core funding, and helping programs, centers, and international offices with priority fundraising needs.
Job Highlight:
In this role, you will be providing project management support to the five year strategic partnership grant between WRI and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). This entails working on budgeting, reporting, donor compliance, and preparing key meetings. Furthermore, you will also support the team in their work with other strategic bilateral government partners in Europe (including The Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Norway, France, and UK), with the organization of events and key meetings (internal and external) and provide administrative support to the overall team and Development Director.
This will be a hybrid position, with the expectation to be in the office one day per week on average.
You will report to the Development Manager of the Government and Multilaterals team.
