The Opportunity
As the Grants and Resources Mobilization Manager (GRMM), you will lead the Grants Department that is in charge of Financial Resources Mobilization, Grants Compliance & Management, Cost Recovery, Donor Engagement and Relationships with overseas colleagues.
The GRMM will report to the Country Director, is a member of the Country Leadership Team and will directly supervise a team of five to seven staff. The GRMM leads Plan International Cameroon’s efforts to achieve the country income targets and supports the Country Office to develop strong relationships with National Organisations (NOs) and donors.
The Individual/About You
The Grants and Resources Mobilization Manager (GRMM) should be a holder of a Higher University Degree (Minimum Masters level) in a relevant field (Economics, International Relations or others), with at least five (5) years of professional experience in a similar position, of which at least 3 should have been spent in a managerial role in the development sector in an International NGO or other grant funded organisation.
Also, you should have a demonstrated track record of writing project proposals for EC/EU, ECHO, USAID, Global Fund, GFFO, BMZ, UN Agencies and others, obtaining grant funding for development and humanitarian response projects from institutional donors.
To fulfil your obligations in the role of GRMM, you should demonstrate excellent written and speaking skills in English Language and strong computer software skills.
