The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.
One of CAID’s projects that aims to support knowledge sharing is the Green Growth Performance Measurement (GGPM) Project. The GGPM has two interlinked components – the Green Growth Index and the Simulation Tool. This consultancy is related to both Index and Tool. The Simulation Tool is designed to allow users to enhance their knowledge of how countries’ green growth performance can be influenced by different policy options within these dimensions. The Green Growth Index and Simulation Tool are integrated approaches, so the validity of the underlying models and assumptions of the latter depends on the policy relevance of indicators that frame the former. The Index serves to benchmark countries’ green growth performance through a common set of variables based on publicly available and credible data. Because the Index is based on a robust sustainability framework, it can highlight achievements of many relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are linked to green growth. For more information on the Green Growth Index, visit http://greengrowthindex.gggi.org/.
This consultancy will support the delivery of the GGPM’s knowledge products in 2025, including the graphic and layout design of the technical report on assessing green-related global indices.
The consultant for this assignment will contribute to the preparation of technical reports. He/She will be hired by GGGI and report to the GGPM project manager.
The consultant’s assignment will include various tasks that will contribute to the successful and timely delivery of the outputs of the GGPM in 2025, which include:
1. Prepare graphics from raw diagrams from images and photos and data from Excel spreadsheets using Illustrator
2. Layout the technical report, including introduction, methods, results and analysis, annexes, and references.
3. Proofread alignment of figures and table numbers across chapters
This is an individual consultancy assignment to support the GGPM team in GGGI headquarters in preparing the technical reports on the Green Growth Index and Simulation Tool.
The assignments will be completed, and the final outcomes will be delivered to the GGGI as follows. Payment will be made upon the completion of all deliverables (in no particular order).
