Mission and objectives

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is administered by UNDP and follows all UNDP rules and regulations. UNV is the UN system common service that promotes volunteerism to support peace and development worldwide. Volunteerism can transform the pace and nature of development and it benefits both society at large and the individual volunteer. UNV contributes to peace and development by advocating for volunteerism globally, encouraging partners to integrate volunteerism into development programming, and mobilizing volunteers.

Context

Staff association committee SAC (Guardian and advocate of UNV personnel working terms, conditions, treatment and status),three main goals to achieve in Ensure UNV is a positive workplace culture. Improve UNV Staff well-being. Enhance Volunteerism Spirit within the UNV staff.

Task Description

We are looking for an Online Volunteer who can produce a design for the first Staff Association Newsletter. In particular, the Online Volunteer is asked to: -convert the content into a newsletter design that can be sent by Outlook email. The design should be editable for the use of the second edition – Develop the design according to agreed requirements. The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the selected Online Volunteers in advance.
