NRC is looking for a Head of Support to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will ensure that all support functions are providing high quality and efficient support programme implementation. He/she will play a strategic and leading role to ensure high quality support services to deliver programmes in a complex and challenging environment, as well as guide and advise the Country Management in the interests of NRC Myanmar its beneficiaries for all support-related matters.

What You Will Do
- Strategic input to the development of the country strategy and plan of action.
- Quality and timely support to project implementation.
- Operational support coordination and alignment with programme plans and with proposal development.
- Master budget, country level budgets and business process outsourcing facilitation and development.
- Country structures, technical systems, and human resource capacity and allocation strategic development.
- Standard operating procedures, guidelines, and tools development.
- Organisational learning related to programme support.
- Line management, guidance, and direction for Support Managers and Support Field Teams.
What You Will Bring
- Senior management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Logistic and Procurement, Human Resources, and Finance routines proficiency in a humanitarian context.
- Resource and cost allocation expertise.
- Market analysis and cash-based interventions knowledge and exposure.
- Remote programming and remote team-working exposure.
- Complex, and volatile context exposure.
- Myanmar context exposure and knowledge.
- English fluency, both written and verbal.

What We Offer
- Yangon, Myanmar duty station, subject to receiving appropriate documentation. The successful candidate will be expected to work from home/remotely for extended periods of time.
- 24-month contract duration.
- 25% travel, approximately.
- Grade 11 in NRC’s Salary Scale. NRC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
