Who are we?
Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for an experienced Head of Support Services to oversee the implementation and operation of Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Business Development and Grants Management, and IT functions in a new support service hub at HQ. The hub delivers support to divisions and units in HQ/Denmark who implement grants locally and globally. The Shared Support Hub will be based in the new Strategy, Programme & Learning Department, from which the majority of global grants are delivered.
About the job
As part of the Organisational Transformation, one of the final cross cutting projects to be concluded has been Aligning Global Grants with Global Processes. This project had the objective to improve the quality and efficiency of the support provided to teams at HQ who are implementing grants. This will be done by standardising processes in accordance with the new workstreams practices in Finance, Supply Chain, HR, IT, Business Development and Grants Management rolled out in the rest of the organisation. As the support hub Head of Support Services (HoSS), you will manage the Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Business Development and Grants Management, and IT support. The Shared Support Hub will provide these support services to the divisions of the SPL Department, the division of the Humanitarian Surge Capacity and to DRC Integration. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (agreement for Academics). This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
