CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the Human Resources Office to provide operational support in preparing and implementing activities related to performance management, skill mapping, data validation, and systems administration.

The assignment will include the followings but not limited to:

      • Participate in the implementation of the annual performance review.
      • Support implementation of the skill mapping project activities.
      • Review data accuracy in various HR systems.
      • Work with IT team to set standardized reports for HR systems.
      • Support engagement with client groups in performance management, learning and development, or other focus areas, by providing relevant reports, scheduling trainings/webinars or other related activities.
      • Work in a team to support development of the internship program by researching best practices and recommending improvements to the existing program.
      • Work with HR and IT team to enhance end user experience for HR services in the GGGI intranet.
QUALIFICATIONS
        • Currently enrolled in at least Bachelor’s program or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) majoring in human resources, education, business administration or other business-related fields. Master’s degree in human resources, organization development or related fields is an advantage.
        • Passionate about the work of Human Resources and the topic of climate change.
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel in particular.
        • Excellent written and spoken English.
        • Positive and proactive mindset that brings people together.
        • Previous experience in Human Resources is welcomed.

 

SELECTION PROCESS
      • Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
      • GGGI evaluates applications based on: eligibility requirements, relevance of academic study and work experience (if any); the level of interest and motivation to be part of the HR team and GGGI overall; and performance in the interviews.
      • Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Duration: The internship program is for six months.

Stipend: GGGI internship program provides a monthly stipend of USD $500 per month (unless agreed to be funded by sponsoring institutions). All costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be borne by either the interns themselves or sponsoring institutions.

Visa: GGGI will provide a supporting letter for visa. Interns will be responsible for obtaining the necessary visas.

Travel: Selected candidate will arrange and finance their travel to the internship location. Remote work may be considered.

Medical Insurance: Selected candidate must present proof of valid medical insurance to GGGI upon returning the signed internship contract.

Confidentiality: Selected candidate must keep confidential all unpublished information obtained during the internship and may not publish any documents based on such information.

Academic Credit: Selected candidate may get academic credit from their institution of higher education for the internship. Interns need to check with their university to confirm their academic credit policy for internships.

Working Hours: Selected candidate is expected to work during normal working hours. Leave should be pre-approved by the Manager.

Learning Outcomes: before completion of the internship, Managers are expected to review the learning outcomes with the intern.

Certificate: provided upon successful completion of the internship, upon request.
