Working with in-country partners, IRRI develops advanced rice varieties that yield more grain and better withstand pests and disease as well as flooding, drought, and other harmful effects of climate change.
Under the general supervision of the Country Office HR Business Partner (India & Nepal), incumbent will be responsible for providing support with HR delivery for IRRI country offices in India and Nepal. The incumbent will manage recruitment and selection of assigned positions and advising staff on IRRI policies and processes. In addition to these, the position holder will also contribute to organising staff engagement initiatives, learning and development and managing staff exit. The incumbent to this position will also be responsible to deputise for the position of HR
Business Partner as and when required.
International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), with the support of the Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, and Farmers’ Welfare, has established IRRI-South Asia Regional Centre (ISARC) in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It is a regional facility that supports research collaboration, training, and service provision to institutions, scientists, farmers, and other stakeholders from India and other South Asian and African nations. This position will be based at Varanasi , India and may only be filled by permanent citizens of the India.
