This is a hybrid position which requires 8 days/month in the office. You can be based in our office in London or The Hague. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position.

 

About the Program:

 

The WRI Europe HR and Operations team supports multiple aspects of each employee’s time at WRI, from hiring and induction to employee benefits and professional development, through development and application of global and local systems and policies. You will add vital capacity to the WRI Europe HR team, supporting the increasing number of staff based in Europe with a focus on systems implementation and data analysis.

 

Job Highlight:

 

Reporting to HR Director WRI Europe, you will help provide support to our staff located throughout Europe, managing HR processes in alignment with global standards and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Europe office. HR and Operations Team colleagues in Europe along with colleagues in the global Centers of Excellence.

 

What will you do:

 

System implementation and Data Analytics (40%):

 

  • Play a key role in the implementation of a new HR system (Workday)
  • Management and maintenance of the HR system and employee data, ensuring personnel data is up-to-date and relevant at all times
  • Provide in depth data analysis and reporting on staff data for Europe in order to meet internal and external reporting needs
  • Ensure alignment with global reporting requirements, working with the global team on definitions, interpretation and presentation of data
  • Support maintenance and updates on HR Intranet Site

 

HR Policies and Procedures (25%):

 

  • Provide guidance and support with respect to all areas of HR, helping to ensure reliable access to up-to-date, relevant information and build cohesion between office locations
  • Contribute to new employee orientation and support new employees in their understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Work with facilities and office management teams to ensure health and safety of staff at all times

 

Employee Relations (25%):

 

  • Facilitate a healthy employee relations environment by providing timely and accurate responses to employment related queries
  • Work with the HR Manager to monitor staff records and take necessary actions to remain compliant with local legislation. Specifically contract renewals and right to work documentation

 

Change Management (10%):

 

  • Actively contribute to special human resource/administration projects as needed and in collaboration with Operations/Facilities or other teams

 

What will you need:

 

  • Education: You have completed a bachelor’s degree in in HR, business or non-profit management, public administration, or related field (or additional 2 years of related work experience)
  • Experience: You have minimum of 6 year of relevant professional experience working in Human Resources administrative roles, ideally within an international non-profit matrixed organization
  • Experience in management and maintenance of the HR system and employee data
  • Experience working with HR systems (Workday)
  • Experience providing in depth data analysis and reporting on staff data
  • Languages: Verbal and written English fluency required. Other languages a plus
  • Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization

 

Potential Salary:UKsalary range is between44K -53K GBP.The Netherlandsrange is57K – 68K EUR.
