The Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness unit is the backbone of the IFC HR function, driving the delivery of strategic initiatives across critical areas such as HR Transformation, organizational design, employee engagement, and strategic workforce planning. We are seeking an Employee Experience and Engagement Specialist to join our team, executing employee experience, engagement, and listening initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, combined with a profound understanding of organizational behavior and employee engagement strategies.

Duties and Accountabilities:
•  Collaborate in the design and execution of the World Bank Group’s employee listening strategy, ensuring alignment with IFC’s overarching goals to enhance employee experience and engagement in support of business objectives.
•  Facilitate the delivery of employee listening strategies for IFC, including survey deployment, results analysis, and action management.
•  Identify and utilize various listening channels and tools beyond surveys (e.g., focus groups, interviews) across IFC for in-depth employee feedback.
•  Analyze feedback data to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations for improving employee engagement, satisfaction, and workplace practices.
•  Prepare and deliver reports on feedback findings, insights, and trends to HR leadership and relevant stakeholders.
•  Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to develop action plans based on employee feedback, assessing, and adjusting strategies, as necessary.
•  Work closely with the HR Lead and cross-functional teams to integrate employee feedback into broader organizational development and change management strategies.
•  Collaborate with HR Leads to define best listening practices and tools for various programs and initiatives across IFC.
•  Prepare communication materials for diverse audiences, effectively conveying strategy, feedback processes, findings, and subsequent actions. Develop enablement materials for leaders.
•  Serve as an advisor on engagement, culture, and overall employee experience across critical moments.
•  Ensure data quality, integrity and privacy as required.
•  Participate in defining project objectives, scope, and success criteria for HR initiatives aligned with HR Transformation and Program Management, managing assigned projects related to these areas.
•  Participate in other unit, department, or corporate projects, as assigned.

 

Selection Criteria

•  Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Organizational Development/Behavior, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
•  Experience implementing and utilizing market-leading continuous listening platforms.
•  Experience in change management
•  Project management skills.
•  Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely and effective execution of employee listening programs.
•  Familiarity with survey design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation methods to extract meaningful insights from employee feedback.
•  Understanding of organizational change principles and strategies to respond effectively to employee feedback and recommend organizational improvements.
•  Excellent written and oral communication skills in English for presenting findings, recommendations, and changes to employees and management.
•  Strong critical thinking skills to address challenges and barriers in engagement and feedback processes.
•  Flexibility to adapt strategies and approaches based on feedback, organizational changes, and industry trends.
•  Ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across the HR team, corporate functions, and business units.
