A place to make a difference:

We are seeking an experienced subject matter expert to lead a 12-month review of our service offer in the Australian humanitarian and settlement sector, working with colleagues in national operations and the wider global movement as well as local sector partners.

 

Reporting to our Deputy CEO and Head of Strategy and Partnerships, you’ll make an impact by:

  • Developing and/or sustaining strategic partnerships and alliances including with Save the Children members, country offices and global Migration & Displacement specialists.
  • Lead service design and innovation across the national humanitarian and settlement portfolio, drawing on internal co-design specialists to ensure our work is guided by lived experience, and
  • Support strategic growth of Save the Children’s Australian source to settlement services

 

This role requires:

  • Demonstrated experience leading service delivery in the Australian humanitarian and settlement sector, with an evidenced commitment to incorporating client voice into design and CQI
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills, with the confidence and capability to lead negotiations and act as local subject matter expert for Save the Children Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong and respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders and community groups, with well-established networks,
  • A strongly collaborative way of working, with the ability to influence, test and learn.
