Result of Service
• Optimal system architecture for adaptation and integration of internal and external platforms identified and agreed by OCHA and implementing partners
• Key stakeholders from across the humanitarian community have sufficient technical understanding to validate and support solutions
• Solutions implemented by platform development teams iteratively tested and validated for conformity with agreed solutions

• Review, validate and deepen existing business analysis, user stories and technical proposals
• Translate user-oriented software solution requirements into technical solution architecture
• Assess the business and operational impact of different technical options
• Mediate architecture trade-offs considering factors such as business need, performance, scalability, manageability, testability, security, usability, functionality, cost, and time
• Provide recommendations on the design and implementation of the optimal solutions, including on adaptation of data architecture, system processes, and user interfaces of existing internal and external platforms, as well as on the integration architecture and two-way data synchronization strategies.
• Work continuously with internal and external platform software development teams and technical experts to advise and feed back on development progress and iteratively test system components, ensuring alignment with agreed designs and a fully functional integration of platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the internal development team on system architecture optimization
• Assist the project management team with internal and external stakeholder communications and consultations to ensure appropriate technical understanding and buy-in for the solutions being implemented
