University degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
At least five years of experience in the Information Systems (IS) field, of which at least the last three years in IT Asset Management and Inventory Control.
Very good organizational and planning abilities; proven ability to work as a member of multi-national/multi disciplinary teams dealing with complex, inter-related issues.
Technical background in the area of IT (including Networking, Internet Technology, Operating System Technology, Systems Security and Applications Development).
Good interpersonal skills, especially communication and presentation abilities.
Good knowledge of budget preparation and execution.
Thorough understanding of IT Asset Management and methods for management of TCO. Ability to work independently, to be self-motivated and to work under tight deadlines.
Ability to work in a team towards established objectives. Specific Qualifications
Good knowledge of Systems, the Agency’s enterprise software (SAP), and more specifically the Audit/Asset Accounting-related modules.
Deep knowledge of Procurement Management and Processes especially for IT projects.
Deep knowledge of Procurement and Financial regulations related to the management and purchase of IT related material and Software and Services would be an asset.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
NATO’s two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 7 370.72, tax free.
