Position Summary
WWF Impact provides catalytic capital to early-stage companies operating within the food system to accelerate and advance WWF’s ambitious conservation goals. We have three distinct strategies that target aquaculture, food circularity, and regenerative agriculture. The Impact Investing Graduate intern will primarily support the aquaculture portfolio. The intern will support landscape research and pipeline building for phase two of the aquaculture strategy. Pipeline building consists of networking, research on aquaculture companies, and preliminary due diligence on those companies. The intern will also support creation of materials briefing colleagues on these companies and developing materials for an expansion of the aquaculture portfolio into farmed mussels. Additionally, the intern will contribute to deal screening, diligence, and daily fund operations. The intern may also support portfolio management through monthly or quarterly portfolio company reports, as well as potential work on impact measurement and reporting. This position affords the opportunity to work across both our interdisciplinary investment team and the broader WWF network in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
