The Opportunity

  • Lead in the design of the Education programme for PIMz as prioritized in the Country Strategic Plan and aligned with government and donor priorities;
  • Identify key implementing and strategic partners working in the field of education with whom PIMz can work to leverage meeting its CSP objectives;
  • Work in partnership with the MERL team to ensure that all project plans are complete with outcome level monitoring and evaluation plans;
  • Oversee programme management for all Education related projects;
  • Develop and oversee programme implementation strategies, including partnership frameworks, protocols and agreements, and capacity building of partners as potentially identified;
  • Support business development team and National Organizations in the development of high-quality concept notes and proposals as well as seeking of new opportunities
  • Effective linkage and relationship established and maintained with National Organizations
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and externals donors and development partners

About You

  • A graduate degree or equivalent in education, Post-graduate degree will be an advantage;
  • Demonstrated experience (not limited to teaching experience alone).
  • Demonstrated experience in teacher training, professional develop or training with other stakeholders in the education sector
  • Demonstrated experience in designing technical strategies around education, specifically early childhood development and primary education.
  • Experience with early grade reading/literacy and numeracy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of girls’ education from diverse ethnic and social groups in Mozambique

Grade: 15 Pay range (2.134.128,00MT to 2.400.888,00MT annual gross) Plan reserves the right to pay according to internal procedures;
