Background information:
UNICC is currently in need for a consultant that will provide a comprehensive and rapid access to qualified and skilled resources on the Digital Treasury Solutions area.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The consultant will work under the direct supervision and guidance of a relevant team leader within the Digital Hub of Treasury Solutions, within the Digital Products Unit (DSDP) and in close collaboration with the United Nations International Computing Center teams. The consultant shall ensure completion of the following deliverables:
- Provide advisory on Trax infrastructure, suggest performance improvements for its future expansion
- Own product backlog and provide effort estimations, manage risk & prioritize tasks
- Provide guidance in decisions for product migration or their upgrade life cycle
- Support IS020022 payment implementation and migration for UN system within FIS Trax shared payment gateway
- Provide design solutions for product enhancements as required
- Guide and enable DHoTS team members for any Trax related issues
- Review and collect FSP/Agency documentation on FIS Trax build
- Collaborate as incident handler for DHoTS operations
- Develop technical recommendations to avoid DHoTS configuration conflicts
- Conduct and manage relevant testing processes for the selected FSP connectivity
- Under guidance, liaise with relevant stakeholders to support the new agency onboarding process
- Implement FSP connectivity for a few selected FSPs within the UN FIS Trax shared payment gateway
- Support bank relationship management, onboarding and coordination for the selected FSPs onboarding
- Provide design solutions for product enhancements as required
- Provide expertise in Groovy Scripting to assess, resolve and support technical issues in FIS Trax
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for DHoTS for the following:
- FSP Connectivity
- Payment types and payment type configuration
Recruitment Profile
Experience and Skills required:
Essential:
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience including in the following areas and systems:
- Treasury Management Systems (ERP Treasury, FIS TRAX)
- Financial Message Formats (ISO20022, SWIFT MTs)
- Payment type (domestic, cross-border, SEPA)
- Customer to Bank connectivity (H2H, SWIFT, EBICS)
- Overall Treasury concepts (cash management, IHC, FX, bank agreements, hedging)
- FIS Groovy Scripting
- Good understanding of SQL concepts
- Good understanding of infrastructure terminologies
- Thorough knowledge of FIS Trax and its various modules
- Effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities with flexibility on time zones and timelines
- Logical thinking, high analytical and problem-solving skills; innovative and solutions oriented
Desirable:
- Knowledge of API configuration
Education*:
Essential:
- First university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
Desirable:
- FIS certification
- ACT certification
- Scrum certification
- Service management (ITIL)
- Project Management certification
Languages:

Compensation:
Fee will be based either on the National Officer salary scales or the Individual Consultancy band levels (for Headquarters)
