Duties and Responsibilities

• CEB Website: -Design and content strategy support throughout site-building on an as-needed-basis, including advice on organization of content, creation of custom page layouts for new types of content, such as pages on cross-cutting issues (e.g. human rights, International Anti-Corruption Day, synergies & partnerships) and news & events, selection of photos and icons, and creation of banners etc. to ensure a well refined final product. -Support with content structure and page layouts for the following subsites: Regional anti-corruption hubs & platforms, safeguarding sports from corruption, Abu Dhabi Declaration programme, international investment (Anti-Corruption Network along the Silk Road Economic Belt project). -Continued assistance throughout development process with ITS, including thorough bug testing and collaborative work on refining the responsive design. -Validation of the forward direction of the design style, and if needed, starting the discussion around the approach to sub-site branding and design. • CEB design: -Exploration of CEB brand style, as established for the website, in print and social media formats. -Update to the CEB brand visual guidelines. -Creation of templates in all official languages, in a style consistent with that of the website and where relevant for use on Canva, including meeting agenda, Word document, PowerPoint document, social media cards, flyers and newsletter on Mailchimp. • TRACK platform -Content strategy and site mapping workshops with relevant stakeholders to determine approach to new site organization. -Design support for general interface as well as design of the new resource database interface, including support with the selection and editing of icons and imagery as needed. -Assistance throughout development process with ITS including bug testing and collaborative work on refining the responsive design. • GlobE Network website -Assistance throughout development process with ITS (including with an interactive members’ map). -Custom design layout for each web page with guidance and checks throughout implementation. -Creation of a brand guidelines booklet including specifications on the use of new brand elements in print and digital spaces. -Design of the following brand collateral: virtual meeting background, email signature, welcome pack, Threema PDF, template PP, Word template, standard presentation. -Annual report design.

Qualifications/special skills

High school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of five years of professional experience in web content management, graphic design and production of online materials and related skills is required. • Excellent knowledge of graphic software such as Adobe software is required. • Knowledge of website content management systems is required. • Experience working with UNOV/UNODC is desirable.

Languages

English and French are the working languages of the UN Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English (i.e. oral and written proficiency and excellent drafting skills) is required. Good communication skills including the ability to write clearly and concisely in English is required. Knowledge of other official UN languages is an advantage.
